Not once, but twice

I needed to go through life the way that I have done, to experience, to learn my own person. Not once but twice, how lucky am I?
I gripped the script with both hands, I faced my directors and said this is not a true reflection of what I want in this life or the next.
I revised, I studied, I cried and continued to make the necessary adjustments to the narrative because I refuse to settle for bare minimum, and for that to be my only experience.
What I want for my life, is not on the same page from the book that was decided for me, why am I not reading the books where the fairy tales are non-conforming.
I can change the font and I can make the letters bigger or smaller, I could turn the page and sigh and ponder.
I could buy the book the one with the quote that taunts me, or I could start a new line and write my journey to the ends and scribble on every corner.
