Flourish Enterprises is a Community Interest Company located in Doncaster, we support people in their recovery from mental health related conditions and also have an end of life care service, feedback from the teams in early 2024 highlighted not only the challenges and impacts this kind of work has at times on individuals, but the day to day pressures away from the workplace.

We approached Neena and discussed ways in which Conscious Sole could support our team offering a unique service that allowed our team to refer themselves confidentially to access support service. Over the last 9 months Neena and her team have supported nearly 25% of the team for 1-1 support sessions to help people suffering anxiety, depression, financial hardship, confidence building, and supporting personal development to name a few, this has also included delivering group sessions such as Menopause Therapy.

The impact on the team has been phenomenal, we have seen a reduction in sickness levels, and people who have been on longer term sickness have been able to return within a much quicker time period, the team appreciate the support service and we have seen significant results in improved work satisfaction and a more positive culture.

​

Neena is dedicated, and very passionate about her work, and has many times gone above and beyond expectations, an example of this includes a member of the team who had an accident at work over 2 years ago and joined Flourish in 2024, this person had not accessed any level of support, but before the accident was a keen sportsperson, Neena worked with them to build confidence and as part of the process supported them in creating and setting up a Community Table Tennis Club, which opened recently and had over 20 people attend the first session. The support given through Conscious Sole to this person and many others has been extraordinary and the feedback from people attending has encouraged others to attend.

The service Neena has delivered has been a game changer for our team, having trialled the offer last year and fully understanding the impact Neena has had on those who need support and confidence building, Neena and her team will continue as part of our support offer to all Flourish employees for many years to come. I cannot thank Neena enough for the impact she has had on our team.
