Whole

Writer: Georgie SmithGeorgie Smith

Close up of a woman smiling with a yellow printed dress on

I am whole, I was never broken,

I don't need fixing, I never did.

It was always them, never me,

They relied on my strength,

To fill the holes in their hearts.

I am whole, complex, alive.

I am a contradiction of feelings,

I am calm and I am fury,

I am silence and I am loud,

I am courage and wrapped in fear,

But always, I am here, undiminished.

I am not a puzzle to be solved,

But a being, forever growing,

Always changing, always becoming,

And yet always whole.
